Acquisition Process

In order to acquire a painting, please send me a reservation via e-mail. Your reservation should include:
- the title of the selected painting
- your postal address to send the invoice and certificate of authenticity
- your (detailed) delivery address as needed
- your e-mail address
- your phone number

Prices are net, and shipping as well as insurance fees are free.
From the day you place a reservation for a painting via e-mail or phone, you have up to 10 days to send me your payment. Past this time, your reservation will be canceled and the painting will become available for other visitors to buy. Upon receipt of your payment, your reservation will be deemed an order. The painting will be shipped only once your payment has been cleared. All orders are theoretically regarded as official and final. However, cancellation requests may be granted, provided they are received prior to shipment of the painting.


Payment Terms

All payments are made in euros.
Acceptable payment methods are as follows:
- bank and SWIFT transfers (bank charges are at your expense)
- French bank checks

Depending on the price of the painting, payment in several installments (up to a maximum of 3) may be accepted, but the painting will be shipped only once the total amount for the invoice has been cleared. This amounts to a guaranteed reservation with down payment.

Shipping

The paintings are immediately available at my home or on the exhibition sites.
They can be shipped in France or abroad within a 8 days period from payment clearance.
I work with "La Poste" and packages are sent with "insured value".
If you wish me to use another carrier of your choice (Fed Ex, private carrier, etc.), a quote will be established and the additional (shipping and insurance) charges will be at your expense.
Please note that the customer will have to pay for any potential customs fees.
The paintings are shipped (unframed) well protected in solid packaging. However, please note that their transportation is at the sole risk of the customer. In case of any damage or other tampering, the customer shall be solely responsible for expressing their reservations to the carrier.
I strongly recommend that you carefully check the condition of the package upon delivery. If you notice any anomalies, do not accept the package before you have opened it and checked that the painting is in good condition of the painting in the presence of the delivery agent. If there is a problem, do not accept the package. The insurance only covers claims issued upon receipt of the package. I hereby disclaim all responsibility in cases where a damaged package is accepted and no claim is issued upon receipt.


Purchase Return

If you wish so, you can return the painting you purchased within a 7 days period from receipt of the package. In that case, put the painting back in its original packaging with all due precaution and contact me. I will provide you with all the necessary instructions. Upon receipt of the package, the purchase price will be refunded to you via wire transfer or check, after deduction of the shipping and insurance fees for the outward transportation, as well as of the potential customs fees. Potential adjustments may be made to the amount to be refunded if the painting has been damaged due to the carelessness of the customer and not due to the transportation.

To date, I have never had any returns resulting from damages related to transportation or from a customer's disappointment.
So, all I can do now is to wish you the safe arrival of your new painting and to hope that you will enjoy it for a long time to come.
